Taking something that is damaged or broken and transforming it into new, different, and positive. There is a story behind this pole. Something happened. An event, damaging it. Maybe a car crashed into it. Without the art, it’s a reminder to watch out for crazy drivers. The sidewalk is unsafe. But something as simple as windows instantly changes the story of the pole. Now it reminds you that people are creative. Funny. The energy of this pole changes, from heavy and dark proceed with caution to light and funny let’s take pictures. The pole goes from broken to unique.

When I first saw this image, I smiled. In a weird way, it made me believe in people, gave me hope. Enough to write a post about it. Now my words may help someone think about the way they look at themselves. Windows on a pole. That’s all this is. But it changes everything. Something that simple turned dead water into ripples.
