When we see the gifts in our friends and partners that they don’t see, it’s very easy to tell them they are better than they know and truly mean it. We can prove it by citing examples. It’s obvious and it makes us sad that they don’t see it.

But when it comes to ourselves, we have blinders. We don’t know what we’re worth. Yeah, we may have a feeling of what we’re “okay” at but we are usually oblivious to the potential that is buried deep inside us. This is due to our story and the false beliefs we have turned into broken records.

What if you entertained this idea that you are actually better than you know? Wouldn’t you be curious to find out how “better” you are? The truth is you are better than you know. Unless you had a perfect upbringing with emotionally supportive parents that loved you without condition, praised you constantly and encouraged your gifts, you don’t know your potential.

No one enters adulthood unscarred.

So we must live like these are life’s instruction itched into our back when we are born:

“Find your true potential. Or you will be dying. Not living”.

Because it’s true.
