JOHN KIM

John Kim, therapist, speaker, life coach and best selling author of "I Used To Be A Miserable F*ck" and "Single. On Purpose."

As I was going through an expired relationship, I created a blog and started to document my journey post divorce. Even though I was a licensed therapist, I preferred casual over clinical in my approach - Blogging about my shortcomings, revelations, and views on relationships, the self help business, and the world.

I realized that there was a new way to help others. I combined what I learned in therapy school with my own methodology and used technology to be mobile. I created online communities, but most importantly I practiced transparency.

People keep asking me why I call myself The Angry Therapist.

My reply: It’s my way of saying I’m human.
